Montreux Jazz Festival 1983

Keith Haring's first official exhibition took place in 1982, and it was a huge success. Pierre Keller meets him a few months later and asks him to create the Festival poster with a swinging character. Haring offers three variations, they are all selected. Keller and Nobs have the wonderful idea of inviting the New York artist to Montreux. As usual, Haring will paint relentlessly: frescoes on large white panels, on stage alongside musicians and in the streets of Montreux.
