Cleon Peterson is an LA-based artist whose chaotic and violent paintings show conflicting figures symbolizing a struggle between power and submission in the shifting architecture of contemporary society.
He first made a name for himself as a graphic designer. He is thus at the origin of logos and many visuals for skate companies such as Foundation Skateboards, Pig Wheels, Zero Skateboards. In addition, he still works in Studio Number One, the creation studio of Shepard Fairey. It is also to Peterson that we owe the famous model of the monograph “Supply and demand” on Obey.
