Parra

Parra, whose real name is Piet Janssen, was born in 1976 in Maastricht (Netherlands). While a career as a professional skater loomed for him, it was in illustration that he broke through, thanks to the flyers and posters he produced. His very colorful post-pop universe and his half-male, half-bird characters make an impression. In 2001, he created his clothing brand Rockwell which took up his universe.

In 2005, he landed his first exhibition in a gallery in London. Things follow for him and he collaborates with big brands like Ben & Jerry's, Heineken, Volkswagen, Zoo York, Nike. He creates his clothing brand Rockwell which takes up his universe. He is also working on other projects: sculptures, art toys. Over the years, Parra has established her style in galleries around the world.
